Polished with Hydration
This is a product I really haven’t seen in other lines before. For hydration in the bikini area most companies stick with oils (I did this with my ingrown hair treatment as well). The idea of having a bikini moisturizer in a cream is intriguing. Deck Polish by ZandiLand Beauty is an exciting find and I can't wait to try it!
Oh dreamy lotion-y gel, where have you been all my life! I may not be one of those people who suffer from a really dry bikini area BUT a lot of my clients do. It’s a very hard area to keep balanced and moisturized. Which products do I use? Is it safe to put in that area? What if it causes more issues than I already have? Well, that’s why I’m doing this baby! For you guys. The Deck Polish by ZandiLand has ingredients that are still a bit of a mystery. They list a Skin Recovery Blend that they call their “signature formula” that calms and restores skin after waxing or shaving. Jojoba with Shea and Orange Peel for hydration and a “gorgeous glow”. Lastly, they list Natural Astringents to help keep the bacteria out.
First Impressions: I love everything about this product so far. Its soft and smooth and smells delicious. You don’t need very much to cover the whole area and its’ not overly thick. Products that come in tubes like this are my favorite because there is no wasting product! When you get to the bottom, you just have to cut off the end of the tube and you can get out the last little bit of product. Still have some left? Just slide the cut piece back on the tube.
Day 10: My skin feels so much better when I apply this after my shower. Areas like underarms and bikini are typically ignored and don’t really get the proper amount of hydrations. So far, a product like this is missing from most waxing after-care routines. I’m pretty sure I’m going to carry this for my clients. I already have some in mind that would benefit from this greatly.
Day 31: I’m pretty sure the only reason I went through this bottle so quickly is because I used it everywhere! I love this product, the way my skin feels and the results. No dry patches anywhere, no more lifting skin when I get waxed, my waxing lasts longer because my hair doesn’t break! This is absolutely going to be carried in my studio. I highly recommend you pick one up!
