Like Butta?
I was very excited when fur announced this product. I love me some body butters! Hydration and moisture are super important for the skin. Not only does it make your skin soft and smooth but the more you take care of it, the younger it looks. We all love that.
My All Body Butter was delivered today and I got my fingers into it as soon as I could. It smells great, light and fresh, just like all of fur’s products. I scraped a bit up and moved it around in my fingertips to soften it up a bit. It is VERY thick and with ingredients like Kokum, Mango & Shea Butter, it makes sense. I made sure to spend enough time warming it up before applying it to my arms first…it really doesn’t spread well.
First Impressions: I would normally use something like this on my feet, knees and elbows only. This product uses 60% less water than most like it, which is great for really dry, cracked skin. Right now my thought is, this really isn’t something I would carry for waxing clients. It seems to be designed for only super dry skin. As it sat on my skin for a while it did end up feeling really good. Personally, I prefer butters and lotions that spread easily. But I will keep going until I use the entire jar and get a really informed decision.
Day 15: I still haven’t figured out the best way to warm this product up so it spreads more easily. Sometimes when I warm it up less, it seems to work better. I may not be the best person to really see how well this product can work. I keep my skin pretty well moisturized daily.
Day 34: I don’t think this jar is supposed to last this long but I have only been using on my hands and feet at night. It still does not spread easily or quickly HOWEVER it actually is doing wonders for my feet! In general I take very good care of my skin but nothing has made my feet as soft as this stuff. I am considering setting up my online store with fur so if you guys want to purchase it from me you still can. I really don’t think I will carry it in my studio tho. Still not done with the bottle so my mind isn’t 100% made up yet.
Day 52: I actually really love this stuff for my feet, elbows, knees and hands! I ended up ordering myself another jar because of how much I love it. Its not really a product that will go well with other waxing aftercare so I’ve decided not to carry it in my studio. If I end up setting up my fur online store, I will absolutely offer this for anyone who wants the softfeet in the world!
Even though its not going on my shelves, it was still a really great products for super dry areas. I’m pretty happy with the way this product test went. In the mean time, if you want a jar for yourself I would be happy to order one.
